Ballroom A and B
Ballroom A and B can both accommodate 340 guests theatre style and are sufficiently large to seat 250 banquet style, with space for a dance floor. They can be divided into two separate soundproof rooms, allowing different events to take place simultaneously.
State-of-the-art technology means that event organisers can choose to make the most of the ample natural light, as unlike conventional projectors, it does not affect the clarity of the three high-definition LED screens. At nearly six metres wide, the biggest of these is the largest of its kind in Africa. Large, airy public areas offer plenty of space for registration, displays or serving welcome drinks and canapés. The ballroom is a high-ceilinged, capacious, flexible space that is easily adapted for conferences, product launches, gala banquets, events or wedding receptions. The space can also be subdivided into two separate soundproof rooms, allowing for breakaways or two separate events.
The conference and banqueting menus range from traditional favourites to local specialities. Alternatively the banqueting team can adapt the menu to suit the event, providing ceviche bars or action buffets, where chefs cook to order. There is a fully equipped business centre close by as well as four meeting rooms able to seat between eight and 14 people. Presentations and audio visual can be transmitted to the screens via broadband WiFi or cabling which can be connected to virtually any input device. Plug points are generously situated throughout the floor space, giving event organisers added flexibility and enabling delegates to easily charge laptops or handheld devices.
